[14]Immediately,themenandwomehosetobegassedatoed.Ayorueenwouldbegassedalongwiththesiddisabled.Theothersweretobeputtowork.OttoFrankturnedahiswifeahelasttimeoofSeptember5,1944.AlthoughOttoFrankwasfifty-five,helookedyouhatreasokilledimmediately.

[15]ThewomeheworkchoreshadtowalktotheatBirkehFrawodaughtersstayedtogether.InOctober1944EdithFraBirkenau.ButAnneandMargotwereserationcampatBergewasbitterlycold.Thewomearviingsickwithdeadlydiseases.AnneandMargothuddledtogetherinanicy-heatedbarraehegirlslookedlikefrozenlittlebirds.AschoolfriendofAnoherobecauseshebelievedthatbothofherparentsweredead.Arembling.Sheedihi.

[16]Typhussweptthrehespringof1945.WitoldofseeingbothAnneandMargotFrahlysithedisease.Theguardshadcutoffwatertothecamp.Thismadesanitationimpossible.AwitnessfoundAnneandMargotlyingsidebysideo.Sheehegirlstogethelp.ButAhatatleasttheyweretogetherandwoulddieiheaarch,Margotfelltothefloorwhiletryingtorisefromherbunk.Shediedofshock.Afewdayslater,AnneFrankdiedaswell.Thebodiesofthegirlsweretakentothemassgravesatthedburied.
